This website from The Computational Science Education Reference Desk (CSERD)  also contains Java-based activitites that allow students to manipulate objects to develop understanding. The Computational Science Education Reference Desk (CSERD)  is a Pathways portal of the National Science Digital Library and funded by the National Science Foundation. CSERD aims to help students learn about computational science and to help faculty and teachers incorporate it into the classroom.

GeoGebra is free and multi-platform dynamic mathematics software for all levels of education that joins geometry, algebra, tables, graphing, statistics and calculus in one easy-to-use package. It has received several educational software awards in Europe and the USA. The site contains a large number of interactive activities for students.
