Mindsnacks Spanish Lessons: Award winning app teaches students the language skills they need: getting directions, ordering food, meeting new friends, shopping, relaxing. The introductory level is free, although more advanced levels require paying for the app.

    • Self-paced course from University of Arkansas offers a good introduction to Spanish for those who have never studied it before, or a good refresher for those who have.     • The French courses are introductory, interactive video-based courses intended for use by university students and independent learners on the Internet.

    • A French as a second language program, using poetry as a topic for discussion using everyday conversational French.
  • Foreign Service Institute Basic Course: Volume 1 – Web Site
    • The cours is designed to enable you to reach conversational proficiency. You learn how to control the French sound system by listening to the tapes and repeating each phrase.
